  • Compensation: $20.00- $25.00/hour 
  • Location: Newport Beach, CA
  • Contract Role 6 Months
Position Description 
Our client's billing department is comprised of revenue professionals focused in three functional areas: Billing, Reporting, and Cash Applications.  The department is responsible for calculating, invoicing and collecting separate account revenue for all entities and we are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Analyst to join our team and support the Reporting team.  
Reporting Analysts have a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence by analyzing fee structures, determining solutions for unique revenue requirements, and evaluating the revenue process for each transition. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Process high volume New Accounts, Amendments, and Terminations for AUM Reporting and Billing by interpreting legal documents, setting up fee parameters, and validating daily transitions
  • Coordinate with global colleagues in Legal, Account Management, Finance and other parties to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
  • Proactively identify and investigate discrepancies across various systems to ensure data integrity
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports accurately by leveraging contextual knowledge of the Billing department and wider business
  • Review complex fee schedule drafts from the PIMCO Legal teams, tracking their progress to execution
  • Drive automation projects and process improvements, collaborating with adjacent PIMCO teams
  • Vet proposed fee structures with Client Facing teams, Fee Strategy Group and other stakeholders, suggesting efficient solutions  



Position Requirements 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in A/R or accounting roles
  • Strong accounting fundamentals
  • Possess intellectual curiosity and strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to effectively and autonomously problem solve and resourcefully research
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environment, which includes handling multiple tasks and challenging deadlines
  • Superior written, verbal communication, and reading comprehension skills with the ability to engage professionally and succinctly with all levels across the firm 
  • Works with a strong sense of accountability, integrity and ownership
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
