THIS IS COVERING FOR SOMEONE GOING OUT ON MATERNITY LEAVE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO START PRIOR TO THE LEAVE FOR KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER / TRAINING. 

YOU WILL WORK FULLY ONSITE DURING TRAINING THEN 1-2 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE AS NEEDED. 

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an AR Admin / Analyst: cash, wire transfers, credit card, EFT payment processing for medical billing 

Responsibilities:
  • Cash Application: Accurately and timely process cash receipts and apply them to customer accounts in the accounting system.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of cash receipts, ensuring they align with bank statements and financial records.
  • Payment Processing: Process customer payments, which may include checks, wire transfers, credit card transactions, and electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
  • Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain proper documentation of cash receipts, including deposit slips, payment confirmations, and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
  • Research and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cash receipts, working collaboratively with internal teams or customers as needed.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze cash receipts reports, providing accurate and timely updates on cash flow and outstanding receivables.
  • Customer Communication: Interact with customers to address inquiries or concerns related to cash receipts, payments, or account balances.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the cash receipts process, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the AR team, finance, sales, and customer service, to ensure effective cash management and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or similar is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 2-5+ years of cash payment representative / AR Analyst experience that includes:
    • Experience accurately and timely processing cash receipts and applying them to customer accounts in the accounting system (ideally w/ an ERP, not Quickbooks)
    • Experience with regular reconciliation of cash receipts, ensuring they align with bank statements and financial records. 
    • Experience processing customer payments, which may include checks, wire transfers, credit card transactions, and electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
    • Experience maintaining proper documentation of cash receipts, including deposit slips, payment confirmations, and supporting documentation for audit purposes
    • Experience investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to cash receipts, working collaboratively with internal teams or customers as needed.
    • Experience generating and analyzing cash receipts reports, providing accurate and timely updates on cash flow and outstanding receivables
    • Experience interacting with customers to address inquiries or concerns related to cash receipts, payments, or account balances.
    • Experience identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance the cash receipts process, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Able to ensure adherence to relevant accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Skill at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the AR team, finance, sales, and customer service, to ensure effective cash management and customer satisfaction.

Compensation depends on experience but typically is between $20-28/hr.
