KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an "Accounting Manager." 
 
Qualifications:
  • Accounting Manager is to own Accounting for Investment Portfolios, including RMBS (Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities e.g. fixed or floating rates in addition to prime, Alt-A, subprime, ARMs, etc.) and JV (Joint Venture) investment accounting and analysis.
  • Research technical accounting issues.
  • Understands GAAP accounting and has a solid accounting methodology
  • This level of work will have complexities. Someone capable of handling complexities professionally and ethically.
  • 3 days in office - M, W, TH. A local candidate to the area will commute into the office is required. Can be fully remote.
  • Locations to commute into will be either Mill Valley, CA, Englewood, CO or USA based.
 



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or other related discipline.
  • Public accounting experience, specifically Big Four, other domestic or globally recognized public accounting firm.
  • CPA license required.
  • Financial Services, mortgage-backed securities or real estate experience desired, but not required.
  • Light knowledge of technical aspects of accounting with knowledge of Workiva.
