KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for "Accounting and Controls Analyst".

Responsible for conducting internal controls over financial reporting compliance assessments to ensure control activities are in place and operating effectively, accounting policy documentation and process improvement identification.
Role:
  • Prepare the scope of internal controls over finance reporting compliance evaluation programs
  • Work with internal personnel and external auditors to coordinate compliance efforts
  • Perform internal controls testing
  • Schedule and conduct control walk through meetings and address follow up procedures to ensure all stakeholders understand duties and responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of process and control documentation
  • Assist in the development of solutions to problems identified and the translation of these solutions into practical recommendations
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely and proper remediation of issues
  • Assists with the fiscal year-end close consolidation process including preparing footnotes
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in Accounting
  • Prior experience with internal controls a plus
  • CPA license a plus
  • Currently personnel are located in USA, EU, and APAC, which will require flexibility to participate in meetings outside normal working hours
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to understand complete systems
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees, management and external auditors
  • Ability to priorities and complete multiple tasks while working under deadlines
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and willingness to dive deep into assigned tasks
