KORE1, a nationwide provider of financial staffing and technical recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable / Accounting Clerk.

Summary:
The Accounts Payable / Accounting Data Entry Clerk is responsible for assisting the Bookkeeper with processing invoices and various data entry in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.  This person will provide also provide Administrative support to the property management office.

Responsibilities:
  • Open accounting mail daily.
  • Perform day to day payable coding of invoices and entry to accounting system.
  • Confirm sales tax is charged and notify bookkeeper of any discrepancies.
  • Maintain monthly utility log.
  • Prepare checks for mailing.
  • Enter journal entries into accounting system.
  • Assist Bookkeeper as requested.
  • Clerical support as needed (answer phones, copying, filing, labeling & boxing files, correspondence).
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and 2 - 5 years' accounts payable experience.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented. 
  • Able to use Microsoft Office: Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environments and wear multiple hats.
