Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller in Gardena, Ca. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional ready to take ownership of accounting operations and help drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and a keen eye for discrepancies across order and inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:
    Assisting with oversight of day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger
    Calculate monthly commissions, royalty and sales rebate expenses.
    Reconcile royalty income
    Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
    Monthly analysis of financial statements.
    Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 
    4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a leadership role within a mid- size company that had gross revenue of at least $25-50 million.
    2 years of supervisory experience of at a minimum 2-3 people.
    Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
    Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
    Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment




Compensation depends on experience but is typically 90-100k
