Senior Manager Accounts Payables

 Essential Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing US corporate accounts payable team in the procure to pay process, vendor management processes, and accounts payable metric reporting.
  • Direct and review the daily operations of a high-volume accounts payable department. Ensures accurate and timely execution of transactions for PO, and Non-PO invoicing. Work closely with staff to enhance and execute problem resolution. 
  • Provide oversight over vendor master data, including creation, updates, inactivation and alignment across third party tools/systems ensuring both data integrity and data normalization.
  • Performs and participate in the review of month-end close activities, financial audit preparation, balance sheet flux and subsequent reporting to senior management.
  • Review with management recommendations for PTP process enhancements to improve operations 
  • Maintain and monitor internal controls within the PTP process to ensure the accuracy of our vendor and financial records.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing process improvements, technology driven solutions and automation. Partner with business systems to ensure all financial systems and procure to pay operations are optimized to capture and produce timely and accurate information.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred). MBA, CPA or CMA a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years experience with 5 years managing full-cycle accounts payable and 5 years leadership experience.
  • Proficient in financial/accounting systems. NetSuite, experience a requirement, Confluence experience a plus.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, Excel, Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Facilitative style, with prior experience of leading and engaging stakeholders 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Functional/Technical Expertise
  • Experience with systems implementations and automation required
 
Specific tasks:
  • Review the preparation of the weekly disbursement batch by AP Manager
    • Review gaps in banking file formats
    • Sign off on weekly file before it goes to Controller
    • Document process to prepare
  • Review the AP Manager weekly invoice review control
    • Provide feedback on gaps
    • Document gaps in file
    • Prepare weekly metrics reporting on data
    • Document process 
  • Review the open PO report
    • Follow up with AP Manager on PO's that are > 6 months
    • Ensure AP Manager is following up with team to close POs
  • Review the unapproved invoice report 
    • Follow up with AP Manager on invoices that age greater than current quarter
    • Monitor issues with invoice processing
    • Prepare weekly metrics reporting on invoice movement by AP Specialists
  • Review AP inbox with AP Manager weekly 
    • Identify stale or unprocessed invoices/inquiries that require next steps
    • Follow up with AP Manager on response lags 
    • Draft standard response templates for the AP Specialists to utilize when communicating to vendors and company employees
  • Work with AP Manager to document current AP PTP processes across AP team members
    • Review for consistency and controls
    • Review with Director for further enhancements or recommendations
    • Work closely with AP Manager to execute and maintain processes
  • Prepare FAQs/ end user support documentation for Roku Central
  • Review audit selections prepared by AP Manager prior to being loaded for audit
  • Participate in PTP corporate initiatives
